Transitioning from high school to college is an important milestone in a young person’s life. It is also a stressful time where important decisions like how much a student will take out in student loans, what college campus feels right to them, and what career path will lead them to their idea of success, are decided upon.
Because of the guidance and support you help provide, Cristal Marte is currently enrolled at Rhode Island College, where she is a Nursing major who will be graduating in the fall of 2019! Like most first-generation students, Cristal didn’t know much about the college admissions process, but knew the importance of pursuing higher education, not only for herself, but for her family’s future.
This summer, College Visions and the Providence Public School Department is offering a FREE 4-week program that is open to Providence Public High School students (Grades 9-12)!
