Because of the guidance and support you help provide, Cristal Marte is currently enrolled at Rhode Island College, where she is a Nursing major who will be graduating in the fall of 2019! Like most first-generation students, Cristal didn’t know much about the college admissions process, but knew the importance of pursuing higher education, not only for herself, but for her family’s future.

Studying Abroad in Jordan and Lebanon with Cheikh
Cheikh is a senior at Connecticut College studying Government and Global Islamic Studies with a minor in Arabic. His passion for politics, governmental structures and a desire to make positive change not only led him to his major, but he was able to land some impressive and exciting internships!
“My experience with UNRWA is unprecedented compared to anything I have done for my post grad plans, I experienced working in a professional work setting, as well as learning more about UN’s role in international politics. Journey to Guatemala
Do you love to travel? How does travel add to your life? Many students and alumni take advantage of opportunities to travel abroad whether that be for study abroad, volunteering, or leisure. Yuselly Mendoza is a recent college grad, who had the opportunity to reconnect with family and volunteer within a community she can call home.
