As CV celebrates our 20th Anniversary in 2024, we are proud to highlight three of our longest term corporate funders. We are honored to have partners that provide committed support to our organization and our talented Scholars. Together, we are investing in the future of Rhode Island!
Nordson has supported CV since 2005 with grants totaling $66,444. CV students have also been recipients of the Nordson BUILDS Scholarship, a scholarship with the mission of attracting and developing a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry.
BankRI has supported CV since 2006 with grants totaling $42,350. In addition to providing grant funding to CV, BankRI has funded and packed care packages for students in CV’s College Success Program.
Bank of America has supported CV since 2008 with funding totaling $309,450 including a 2014 Neighborhood Builder award and funding through Bank of America Charitable Foundation’s Economic Mobility grantmaking. Bank of America also supports CV through Board service. Brian Velasquez, the Vice President, Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager, serves as Treasurer of the CV Board.
