This year has been everything but normal. More than ever, people are facing new challenges, stresses and changes that have shifted how we do our work and how we take care of ourselves. For College Visions and our students, this has meant going completely virtual and navigating big decisions during a time of great uncertainty. We want to make sure that our community is doing what they can to take time for themselves and find some calm during the chaos. So this year, we invite you to take a seat and learn some fun skills with us!
We have great talent amongst our CV alumni and the RI community and some of them are offering workshops so that you can learn something new and have fun doing it. So put on your fluffy robe and slippers, grad a beverage and join us! We’ll be offering sessions once a month! To register for a session, please provide a meaningful gift of at least $20. The proceeds will go towards our work here at College Visions in supporting first-generation, low-income students to and through college.

Informational video from Ben: https://vimeo.com/508548645
Description: Being first-generation, there are a lot of things we have had to navigate with little to no information and financial literacy is one of them. During this workshop, we will focus on practicality. What can we DO TODAY to make sure we are prepared when budgeting, purchasing a car, making first investments, managing debt and more.
